My stay at the Embassy Suites near the Country Club Plaza had its ups and downs. The room I stayed in was spacious and comfortable, which was a big plus. The complimentary breakfast was quite good, featuring made-to-order omelets and various hot items. However, the hotel could greatly benefit from renovations—my first room had a musty smell, and the overall cleanliness was subpar, with issues like old furniture and unkempt bathrooms.
